I have returned, no?
5 months MIA, and now here I am. I only made one piece, haha. I have to hop on a plane and head back to my "duty station" on the third, so I don't have too much time left.
I've been catching up, especially on movies. And Spartacus.

Today is the last day for 20 weeks that I got to sleep in my own bed, and wake up to a quite house. I leave tomorrow to go on an adventure that makes me very excited and curious, but also nervous and terrified. You won't hear from me for awhile, quite possibly January. I will hopefully be back in December, just in time to move out on my own as a Boilermaker.
I hope you all have a good time doing what you planned on doing for the rest of this year, whether it be working or learning or bumming, cause I won't hear from any of it until next year :]

I also just happened to see your journal about enlisting in the National Guard and wanted to say congrats and good luck! I will be leaving for Basic Training for the Guard in 5 weeks and won't be back until basically New Year's, or later because I chose 68W (combat medic)! If ya need any tips for getting through MEPS or anything like that, I've been through it already and I have plenty of advice for MEPS that your recruiter may not tell you. MEPS is pretty nerve-wracking for those whom are unprepared. Again, best of luck to you and huah!!
